Final Inclusive Community Workshop
We're just over 1 week away from Gateshead Thrill Day and we're excited to announce our third and final workshop before the big event.
In this workshop, we will be going through the choreography we will be performing at Gateshead Thrill Day on Saturday 26th October. This workshop is for everyone who has attended a previous TTWG workshop or anyone wanting to come along for a fun afternoon.
As North East Dance Co-operative aims to remove the barriers of dance and make dance accessible for everyone, we are alsoaiming this workshop at anyone with a disability (physical or mental) and anyone with a chronic/serious illness including cancer.
Our fantastic teachers are able to dapt the routine where necessary for all participants depending on their needs and abilities. Our workshop will be led by our Dance Coordinator Hannah Gordonand co-facilitated by dance teacher, wheelchair-user and disability activist Kate Stanforth and disabled dancer and founder of North East Dance Co-operative Angeline Lucas.
The workshop is free to attend and will be taking place at Brandling Dance Studio, Jesmond, NE2 4RS from 3pm till 4pm. If you haven't been able to attend one of our previous workshops, you can join us and learn the dance from scratch from 1pm till 3pm before thefinal rehearsal. And if you haven't signed up already, you can pick up registration forms from our team or email thrilltheworldgateshead@gmail.com to register you interest.
